ARTWORK - THE QUALITY OF YOUR ARTWORK DETERMINES THE QUALITY OF THE IMPRINT

Art Charge And Other Things You Should Know
• Low resolution JPG or BMP produces low quality imprint and
  are therefore discouraged.                                 
• Photocopies, business cards, and faxes are not considered artwork
   and will not be accepted.
• Reversed art and fine line art are not recommended due to fill-in
  and factory will not be responsible for quality of imprint.
• Art charge ($96.00 (P) per hour) will apply if artwork is not camera
  ready, or if reconstructing or touch up is required.
• Art charge is a service charge only and does not transfer title.
• A correction charge of $50.00 (p) will apply to all corrections received
  AFTER the plate or screen has been made.
• All art changes are additional to screen and setup charges.

 


ABOUT ARTWORK

 
Electronic Artwork
• Formats: vector format EPS, AI, CDR and WMF, with all fonts
  converted to outline/curves.                         
• E-mail to artwork@pacificline.com. All e-mailed artwork must include
  industry reference number and PO number. Orders are not accepted
  at this mailbox.
• MS Word, Publisher, and other non-vector format files are not accepted.
• Please fax or include paper artwork with PO.
• Multi-color imprint must have color separated artwork in electronic
  form only.

Paper Artwork
• Paper artwork is no longer accepted.

 


 IMPRINTING


First Color/Location Imprint
• Most prices quoted include 1-color 1-location imprint.

 Second Color/Location Imprint
• Available as indicated by '2nd color or location pricing' listed under
  each product. 

  •    Second Color/Second Location Imprint is $0.46 (P) per piece.                                       

• Additional screen setup charge is $50.00 (V) per additional
  color/imprint.
• Third and fourth color imprint available on some products. Please
  inquire.

PRODUCTION TIME


Normal Production Time
• 5 - 7 working days after art approval (subject to stock on hand).

Rush Orders
• 3-day Rush: add 20% to total order (Must confirm with factory).
• 2-day Rush: add 40% to total order (Must confirm with factory).
• Please specify shipping method.
• If order is for special event, please mark “must have in-hands day”
  on Purchase Order.
• Factory reserves rights to omit paper or PDF proof for rush orders.

 


CONFIRMATION AND ART PROOF


Order Guidelines
• Factory will not accept phone orders. All orders must be faxed, e-mailed
  or mailed in.                                      
• All orders subject to a daily cut-off of 2PM, Pacific Standard Time. All orders
  received after the cut-off time will be processed the following business day.
• Factory is not responsible for any error caused by fax, e-mail transmission,
  and/or technical malfunctions, including, but not limited to scanner, phone line,

  and toner problems.
• Large quantity quotes must be requested by fax or e-mail. Quote reference
  number must be used on purchase order.

• Orders submitted by e-mail must be submitted to orders@pacificline.com.  
  Orders submitted to customer service reps will not be processed.

Order Confirmation
•Orders are acknowledged by e-mail only. Contact factory if
  acknowledgment is not received within 1 working day. Factory must be
  contacted immediately for any discrepancies.
• Orders that are not marked "Duplicate" or "Confirmation Only" will be
  processed and invoiced.

Proofs
• PDF Proof - FREE (E-mail only, e-mail address required).
• Pre-production Sample - $50.00 (V) + cost of product + screen charge +
  applicable art charge (non-refundable).
• Pre-production samples available in 3 - 5 working days. Rush charges applied
  for rush pre-production sample.
• PDF Proof is provided for copies set at factory for approval. One change
  allowed free of charge. Additional correction will be billed at $30.00 (P) per
  copy change.

Order Cancellation
• Order cancellation subject to the cost incurred at the time of cancellation,
  and must be in writing. An order cancellation charge of $50.00 (P) will
  applied in addition to all costs already incurred.
• Buyer is responsible for all cancellation costs.
• Shipping charges, setup charge, and art charges are non-refundable.
• Imprinted products are not returnable or refundable.

 


SHIPPING & PACKING


Shipping
• All products shipped FOB California, 91706.
• Normal method of shipping is UPS Ground. Please see UPS shipping
  guide or call factory for normal transit time.

  (Third party accounts, additional charge of $2.50 (V)-Handling Fee per box.) 

• Please specify other preferred shipping methods. Handling charges applied.
• Split-Drop shipments additional fee of $6.25 (V) per address.
• Factory is not responsible for delays in shipment caused by freight carrier,
  incorrect address, or circumstances beyond our control.
• Please specify AM or PM delivery for all overnight shipments (Subject to
  availability in your area).
• Factory reserves the right to charge address correction fees billed by couriers.
• All freight quotes are non-binding estimates and are subject to confirmation
  and adjustment at time of shipping.

Packing
• Unless otherwise specified or requested, most items are shipped in
  bulk packaging.
• Optional tagging service and/or special packaging may be available at additional
  cost. Please contact factory for details.

 


MISCELLANY
 

Payment
• Payment is required for all first-time purchases unless credit has
  been established.
• Payments are acceptable in checks, Visa, MasterCard, and American
  Express. Debit cards are not accepted.
• Production will not begin unless payment is received.

Ink Cartridge For Our Pens
• Black ink cartridges are used for all writing instruments.
• All ink cartridges meet US Safety standards.
• Unless otherwise specified, ink cartridge shelf life is 6 months in storage.

  •   Factory does not guarantee cartridges to work for pens left in storage for over 6 months.


Over-runs and Under-runs (+/- 5%)
• Factory reserves the right to over-run or under-run up to 5% of the order.
  All over-runs are billable.

Repeat Orders
• Please include previous Purchase Order number, Invoice number, and date.
• Please provide copy of artwork to verify imprint information.
• Records of past orders are kept for 3 years. Repeated orders after 3 years
  will incur new setup charges.
• Any information change (such as area code) requires a $25.00 (V) copy
  change charge.
Re-setup charge: 50% off original setup and color match charges for orders
  placed by same distributor company without artwork change.

Returns and Redo’s
• Items printed incorrectly due to factory error will be replaced at no charge
  when returned within 30 days from receipt of products.
• All returns must be approved by factory with Factory Return Authorization.
  Unauthorized returns will not be credited.
• Unimprinted goods may be returned subject to a 25% restocking fee.
• No return accepted after 30 days.
• All claims must be made within 30 days from invoice date.
• Imprinted goods cannot be returned for credit or refund.

Samples
• Sample requests totaling $2.00 or more will be invoiced at sample
  cost + freight.
• Random samples are billed at end column pricing.
• Please provide UPS account number when requesting sample(s).

Product Variations/Pricing Change
• Due to measures beyond our control, color variations among products,
  photo illustrations, and actual products may exist. Distributors are
  encouraged to obtain samples prior to ordering.
• Factory reserves the right, without prior notice, to make changes to the
  appearance, functionality, and color availability of any product.
• Prices subject to change without notice.
• Please contact factory to confirm pricing/delivery at time of ordering.

Trademark
• The artwork, designs, and trademarks are reproduced for illustrations
  only. They do not imply or suggest endorsement by the artwork/trademark
  owners or that the item was originally produced for the artwork/trademark
  owners.
• To avoid trademark, trade dress, and/or copyright infringement, the factory
  reserves the right to request authorization to reproduce a logo or artwork,
  or refuse orders that will result in such violations.
• PacificLine Originals are exclusive in-house designs.
